LiS3 TC - Alex makeup and outfit test

Image
Few render tests with makeup matching outfit color?.. no clue if this is correct makeup etiquette. Created a mask for lips and eyes, used as factor to mix color in Blender. Also using outliner, thought it looked nice.   Full ver    Full ver       Full ver

LiS3 - Alex's room test render

Image
Quick render of Alex's room testing lighting, objects etc. Oh should be an unwritten rule, a red plaid shirt must be an option to choose! Link here

LiS - Rise and Fall video

Image
The girls having some fun. Youtube link Fun to setup in Blender. Using volume, translucency, particles, DoF, Cloth sim. Rendered in Eevee.

LiS - Procedural window rain

Image
Added an animated window rain effect.. Original cycles  render the rain was done with particles, it looks nice static.. but was difficult to animate and rendering took to long to animate. Procedural texture used here and with eevee took 20 sec per frame and the result is nice enough.

LiS - Blender Cycles to Eevee

Image
Revisiting an old cycles render i did a while back and trying it in eevee.  Issues encountered:  Room light leaks.  Window glass shader blocking similar objects behind.  Lots of object needed blend mode change to Alpha clip.  I miss hiding lights from camera option in cycles :)

LiS BtS - Rachel's bedroom blender model

Image
Rachel's room for Blender. Grab it over at Deviantart  Principal shader used.. So grab the latest Blender version. Added some basic emissions to lamps, torch etc.  Most objects are separated, some are still linked like the posters on wall, etc. Emergency kit objects added as was not part of the mesh. All original dds textures included, only normals converted. (Reason file is so big) It go's without saying this is DONTNOD and DECK NINES's work. I just extracted the mesh, separated and added textures.

BTS Rachel's room

Image
All the bed rooms in LiS and BTS have such a nice feel and design. Each one reflects their owners well. Rachels room in the night was so well done. Extracted the room, textured and did a quick test render to see how the lights came out. Added some stuffed friends :) Full over at Deviantart
