Nexus Tablet 2013 bluetooth wierdness

So i have had this tablet since it first came out (still going strong!) and have always had issues with Bluetooth. Oh I'm using the default google play app.


Wether its connecting to my cars audio system or my room speakers it will always have some issue eg.
     It will connect to my car system fine, but always start in PAUSE or not be detected at all!.
So it means opening the tablet and pressing play. Once that's done it plays but the car controls will not function to skip a song or adjust volume. Its only when i manually hit the next song button that somehow wakes up the car controls.

Another issue was it took a long time to connect to my room bluetooth speaker, like minutes!

Then all of a sudden 1-2 weeks ago everything started working!
Tablet connects to car without me touching it and controls work right of the bat.
I have not touched the car system in any way.

Also now room speaker connects immediately! Again nothing touched.

I cant help this was fixed in the latest security patch cause it seems crazy now its started to work as it should,

So happy now it working :)
