 Large full moon last night, took some snaps.. need to play a bit with exposure levels.

So TV flashed up a software update is ready msg. Installed and went from 3.03.55 to 3.20.05 Not sure what is adds/fixed but maybe its the HDR update. Dont have anything to test with tho :P Also Netflix updated, again not sure what was fixed/changed.

Wow.. Just finished Life is Strange Ep 5.. Amazing episode, brilliant story, and characters that come alive as your are immersed in this fantastic world. Dontnod have really raised the bar on adventure games and story telling. Kudos. This episode shines a light on Max's insecurities with nightmarish realities that truly horrify. From getting Max through a maze corridors whilst being hunted by Jefferson, listening to some really disturbing taunts. To the diner where just about every character has something to say about Max's actions past and present. Again like the rest of the series the scenes are gorgeous with fantastic use of light, shadow and camera positions. From the stark white in the dark room to the dark and shadowy nightmare realities the game is just lovely to look at. The voice acting in this episode and the series as a whole was fantastic. Hannah Telle, Ashly Burch are superb as Max and Chloe and Derek Phillips as Jefferson nailed that psychopath to the p

Finally begged/borrowed a tripod and did a few zoom ins on the first quarter moon. They are little more stable but move around when touching the zoom button. Will need to get a remote next as the android app wont work in video mode. Blue filter Red filter

Holy shit what a gut wrenching ride through time and realities and i'm only half way!.. seriously fantastic episode so far, exceeding all expectations. Loving this side of Max, angry, defiant and cool thinking.. everyday hero! Some screenshots in 2160p/4k here Spoiler warning etc..

Just some info on how to set up a changing wallpaper for your android tablet or phone like below.. First grab a few screenshots (I use the Life is Strange Arcadia Bay menu pics as they change from day, night, sunset, etc). Located here Place them inside a folder on your device (mine are in Pictures/Life is Strange folder) You will need to number them so they change in sequence or not up to you.

Planet landing progressing nicely, cant wait till working in game.  D avid Braben calls the video a "quick-and-dirty un-edited capture from a debug build on one of our dev machines, using the debug camera on an SRV and just zooming out ever faster". He added that there's "tons of little details we plan to tweak or fix".

As the title says added 4k wallpaper of Arcadia bay without the titles. Also it seems when you first start the game, the menu background has no effects happening like double exposure and so on. You need to first load a save game then quit out to the menu in order to see the effects. Any how.. enjoy. Files can be grabbed here

Nine more days..

These gorgeous Lorikeets decided to stop and nosh in the backyard. Around dusk and focus went a bit strange, was playing with settings.  

New game Starlight from Wadjet Eye.. can't wait! Then saw it will  be released in 2016. Nooooo. The world ended on the day the bombs fell. With the GeForce 358.50 drivers GPU scaling is back! Woohoo! Tested out and working as it should.

Decided to try out the Steam In-Home Streaming  with the pc connected to the LG OLED. Simple to use, login to steam on both pc's and on the client pc (TV) open your games library and there will be a STREAM button besides the games. To my delight it was very smooth and looked fantastic. Personal pc has a GTX 980 and the TV pc has a GTX 970ti. Will test out other games but just couldn't resist running Life is Stange to christen the TV. :) Its streaming at 1440p, which is the desktop rez on my pc, will see if i can get it streaming at 4k

Hmm seems Win 10 and nvidia gpu scaling is not working. Monitor supports 2560 x 1440 and i make a new custom rez of 3840 x 2160 and scale to GPU so i may screen capture at the higher rez. But now its not letting me do this. Got the Nvidia 355.98 drivers installed. Seems a few ppl are having the same issue on the internets.
