Life is Strange - Using Max's notification tone on Android.

I have set up my tablet to play Max's notification tone from the game for new items like email, messenger and twitter.

I don't know why but it makes me smile when i hear that tone and think back on the game :)

It seems to work fine, but your experience may vary.

Here is an example:

You can even change the Clock app alarm to your fave mp3 track:

Its easy to do with this free app from google play store called Rings Extended. Link here.
Grab the ringtone from the Life is Strange game and copy it to your music folder. Link here

If you are familiar with android then its a piece of cake to setup otherwise further instructions after the break.

Install it and simply go to your sound and notification settings.
(My tablet is a nexus 7 2013 running Marshmallow so it may look different but it should still work)
.
Boring tejet sound!

Click on Default notification ringtone and you will see the following screen.
On this screen select Media Ringtones.

Rings Extended screen.

Now swipe across to Duration (easier to find the short ringtones on your device)
Select the LiS Max phone tone and press OK

Ringtone selected!

Back to your Sounds & Notifications screen you will see the default tone now is the LiS tone!

Hella yes made it!

Now you should be able to open other apps and the LiS Max phone tone should be visible to select as a ringtone.

You can even use it to change your Android Clock alarm to any mp3 track.. open the Clock app.

Select the Alarm you want to change

As you can see Argon is the current ringtone.

Click on the current ringtone and the Rings Extended screen will show up.

Click on Media ringtones

You can now locate any mp3 you want to use as an Alarm. Search feature is handy if you have heaps of tracks.
Something Good by Alt-J sounds cool to wake up to. :)

Once selected you can see the Alarm is now set to the music track.
